Cosmic Rose, by Roxanne Baldwin I Believe I believe that every single one of us is connected to everyone else. The actions of one reflect on all. On a more local basis (Planet Earth) I believe that every single one of us has the ability to find another's thoughts. So if we have made a promise of energy to someone, that the person who is receiving and the sender connect. In short we are at one with everything and everything is at one with us or to paraphrase an old Diana Ross song. "You are everything and everything is you". Like I say this is what I believe. I don't know that it is true. ------------------------------------------- Be careful of your thoughts they become your words Be careful of your words they become your actions Be careful of your actions they become your habit Be careful of your habits they become your character Be careful of your character it becomes your destiny - Anonymous ------------------------------------------------- A Simple tale of wisdom One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway, it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They each grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer looked down the well, and was astonished at what he saw. As every shovel of dirt hit his back, the donkey would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed, as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and trotted off. The Moral: Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up!
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred. 2. Free your mind from worries. 3. Live simply. 4. Give more. 5. Expect less.
O.K., that's enough of the bullsh*t. The donkey later came back, caught the farmer out in the field and kicked the sh*t out of him. Then he went over to each of his neighbours farms and kicked the sh*t out of them too for helping. Triangulation Meditation This one is very good for preparing yourself for energy work. It clears out your central column, allowing you to handle more energy . It starts with the Soul mantra. Which is a lovely way of connecting with your I Am energy. I do however leave the I am the monad part of it out. Please follow the link to get to the meditation The Triangulation Meditation Whilst there, look at the spiritual whirlwind meditation as well. This is very often done after the triangulation one. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is an adaptation of a meditation that I heard on a Ram Dass tape many years ago, mixed with another one that I heard around the same time. Imagine a tiny being sitting on a leaf in the middle of a lake. This is at your heart centre. The tiny being grows until it fills your body Then grows and fills the room Then the country Then the whole of the Earth Then out to the moon (Stay at each place for a bit, eventually you will be able to get out there a bit faster, but at first take your time) Then the solar system. Keeping the earth in your belly. Then our galaxy Then the whole universe In the distance you see a light, a brilliant white light, As you get closer, it gets larger. You reach the light, you are now right back to source, where we all began, and where the energy started. Replenishing yourself with the energy that is there Stay there, but also be here at the same time. you are multi dimensional, you are everywhere you are everything. Keep connected with the Earth in your belly. When you are ready to go thank the energy and slowly come back into our universe Then our galaxy Then our solar system Then to the moon Look at the Earth in you belly Send love Healing Energy Compassion. Now come back to the earth To your country To the room To your body Let the little figure shrink back down till he/she is at you heart centre sitting on a leaf in the middle of a lake Thank them for taking you on the journey. The Green Tara Mantra Om Tare Tutare Ture Soha If you type Green Tara into Google you will find some really nice pictures of this Buddhist deity Chanting the mantra for around 20 minutes at a time really helps focus and calm your mind (well it does mine anyway) --------------------------------------------------------------------
Healing Meditations/Techniques These are a little bit of self help, or something for you to speak (in the case of the meditations) whilst helping some one else This first one came from a book I read many years back. There is a name for this technique, but I can not remember what it is. This is a method for ridding yourself of minor pain. If the pain is persistent you should of course seek medical help. The first thing to do is to look into the pain. Find where the pain is. Ask what colour it is, What shape it is, What is the texture of it In your mind, fill the shape out with clear clean water (Or white light if you visualise that better) When it is full, wash it out. Send the water/light to the universe to be cleaned. Repeat the washing process. After a few washes, look at the pain again, has it changed colour, shape ,texture. Repeat the washing process. Look at the colour, shape and texture again. You are aiming for the colour to be bright and clean, not dirty or in anyway angry. The shape may start sharp or twisted and the texture hard or spiky, but after the process has been done for a while these all change. The pain changes, becomes more bearable, unless it goes altogether, which is the aim. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
